Ron S. Strand, President/CEO and Co-Founder Ron along with his wife Kathy founded Calico Building Services, Inc. in 1986. Ron is a California native, with more than 30 years experience in service related industries. He prides himself on building teams of quality individuals and employees who can carry out his vision of providing excellence in service and quality customer care. Ron imparts those values to his staff through company training seminars as well as one-on-one mentoring. Prior to founding Calico Ron's professional career included sales, management and leadership positions with such as The Los Angeles Times, Anchor Post Products and Kueffel & Esser Company. He attended Southern California College (now known as Vanguard University) in Orange County and Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California. As President /CEO of Calico, Ron maintains a high visibility with both customers and employees. Under his leadership, Calico has gained a reputation as one of the most well respected quality building and property service companies on the West Coast.
